June 29, 2018 Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion

Marines from Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, greets loved ones after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 29. After graduation, all Marines are given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training. June 15, 2018 Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion

The guides of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, present the guidons before returning them to their drill instructors during graduation at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June. 15. These guidons have been carried by the platoon guides for the duration of training, and this portion of the ceremony marks the disbanding of the platoons. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
