MISSION
To preserve dignity, promote respect, and support combat readiness for all Marines, Sailors, civilian personnel, and other Armed Forces personnel assigned to or serving with Marine Corps units by ensuring a clear and common understanding of Prohibited Activities and Conduct, their corrosive effects on the force, and appropriate prevention and response actions in accordance with MCO 5354.1G.
SCOPE
The Marine Corps is built on the trust, teamwork, and discipline shared between Marines, Sailors, civilian personnel, and their leaders. Inherent in this trust is the expectation that all personnel are treated with dignity, care, and respect.
Prohibited Activities and Conduct undermine good order and discipline, unit cohesion, morale, and readiness. All personnel share responsibility for maintaining a professional environment free from harassment, hazing, bullying, prohibited discrimination, and sexual harassment.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the PAC Prevention and Response Program is to establish standards, responsibilities, and procedures for preventing and responding to prohibited activities and conduct. Such conduct is unacceptable, counterproductive, and inconsistent with Marine Corps values, leadership standards, and mission readiness.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ADVISOR
Serves as the Commanding General’s principal advisor on matters related to the Military Equal Opportunity and Prohibited Activities and Conduct Prevention and Response Program. Provides information, guidance, assistance, and advice to commanders, commanding officers, tenant commanders, Marines, Sailors, civilian personnel, and other attached service members regarding PAC prevention, complaint processes, command climate, and response procedures.
