Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, run in formation as their drill instructors call cadence during a motivation run at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 4. After the Marines graduate recruit training, they receive 10 days of leave before reporting to the School of Infantry for Marine Combat Training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 5.
