On September 30, 2023, our web-based FOIA/PA portal (FOIAOnline.gov) was decomissioned and can no longer be used. Its replacement, SecureRelease, is operational and available to the public as of Friday, December 15, 2023.
To preserve dignity and promote respect for all Marines and other Armed Forces personnel, uniformed and civilian, that are assigned to, or serving with, Marine Corps units by ensuring a clear and common understanding of the prohibited activities and conduct addressed in MCO 5354.1G, their intolerable and corrosive effects on our institution, and proper prevention and response actions.

As a component of the Department of the Navy, Secretary of the Navy Instruction 5720.42F, Department of the Navy Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program (SECNAVINST 5720.42F), governs the Marine Corps FOIA program. SECNAVINST 5720.42F is codified at 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 701.
