Private First Class Leo C. Menge, Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, wins in a mixed martial arts fight for Caged Aggression. Menge was a successful MMA fighter with a record of 18 wins and one loss. After having a successful career in MMA, he decided to chase a greater challenge and become a Marine. Today, all males recruited from west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 7.
