Major Pricilla A. Malone

Major Malone Enlisted in the Marine Corps in December 2005 and was designated as a 0231 Intelligence Analyst after completing her basic training. During her time as an Enlisted Marine, she was stationed at MCAS Miramar and worked at Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 166 and Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232.

While serving as an Intelligence Analyst, and later the Intelligence Chief, at VMFA-232, she deployed on the USS Nimitz. After her deployment, Major Malone submitted a Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Education Program package and was selected in 2010.

In May 2010, Major Malone checked into MECEP Preparatory School and graduated three months later. After graduating, she traveled back to San Diego, California to attend San Diego State University. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, focused on fitness, health, and nutrition. She was then commissioned in May 2013 and reported to TBS in August 2013. Upon completion of TBS, Major Malone was designated as a 0207 Air Intelligence Officer and attended the Air Intelligence Officer Course (AIOC) in Dam Neck, Virginia. During AIOC, Major Malone graduated as the distinguished honor graduate and received the Colonel Frank E. Walton Award and the Marine Corps Intelligence Association Academic Excellence Award.

Upon completion of AIOC, Major Malone checked into Marine Aircraft Group 39 and was immediately sent to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 to prepare their Intelligence Department for the Unit Deployment Program (UDP). In November 2014, she deployed on the UDP to Okinawa, Japan. During her time on UDP, she supported squadron exercises in Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, and the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HA/DR) Operation SAHAYOGI HAAT in Nepal. In 2015, Major Malone won the 3d MAW board and was nominated for the Marine Corps Aviation Association Ground Officer of the Year Award.

After serving with HMLA-469, Major Malone served as the S-2 for MAG-39 until she was selected to attend the resident Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, VA. She graduated in May 2018 as a distinguished graduate and then was assigned as an augment to Delta Company, Officer Candidate School (OCS) as a Platoon Commander for the summer cycle. In August 2018, Major Malone reported to MAWTS-1 in Yuma, Arizona for duties as an Intelligence Instructor and to serve as the Assistant Intelligence Department Head.

In February 2022, Major Malone reported to MCRD SD, Company I, 3d Recruit Training Battalion. She completed a partial cycle before she assumed command of Special Training Company, Support Battalion. On 1 March 2023, she relinquished command of Special Training Company and was frocked to the rank of Major.

Directly after, Major Malone transferred back to 3d Recruit Training Battalion to assume the billet of Battalion Executive Officer. On 3 July 2024, Maj Malone was assigned as the Director of Drill Instructor School, MCRD SD.

Her personal awards include (2) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, (1) Joint Service Achievement Medal, and (3) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
