Pfc. Gino Garcia, Platoon 1021, Company B, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, is looking to use his experiences in the Marine Corps to become a police officer like his mother, who died when he was six. The Chicago native will be returning home after completing his training to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve and attend school at Illinois State University.
