Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, perform ammunition can lifts during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 24. The three parts of the event consist of an 880-meter sprint, ammunition can lifts and the maneuver under fire. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
