CMC and CMT Courses

Fiscal Year 2024 Combat Marksmanship Coach (CMC; 0933) and Combat Marksmanship Trainer (CMT; 0931) Courses Letter of Instruction

CMC course prerequisites:
*Rank: Pvt – GySgt
*TIS: minimum 1 year
*Full duty and within height and weight standards per MCO 6100.3A w/Ch 3
*Minimum obligated service of 1 year upon course completion
*Current qualification of sharpshooter or higher with the service rifle/carbine
*No pending military or civil litigation; no courts martial within 1 year
*No existing family, financial, or legal hardships/appointments preventing 100%
participation

CMT course prerequisites:
*Rank: Cpl – GySgt
*TIS: minimum 1 year
*Full duty and within height and weight standards per MCO 6100.3A w/Ch 3
*Previously qualified as expert with the service rifle/carbine and have a current pistol
qualification
*GT score of 90 or above
*Hold CMC MOS 0933
*Have with a minimum of 6 months cumulative coaching time or
receive SNCOIC recommendation
*No pending military or civil litigation; no courts martial within 1 year
*No existing family, financial, or legal hardships/appointments preventing
100% participation

Local Marines will be TAD to WFTBN on non-funded paper orders. If travel costs are required, orders will be unit funded. Billeting is available on a very limited basis and must be arranged through the Course Chief Instructor during the nomination process.
