Private Tristan A. McGonagill, Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, puts used boots into a bin during his company’s gear de-issue at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 5. Following graduation from recruit training, McGonagill will move on to the School of Infantry in Camp Pendleton, Calif., and then on to his military occupational specialty school as an amphibious assault vehicle crewman. He hopes to make a career out of the Marine Corps. McGonagill is a native of Bellville, Texas, and was recruited out of Recruiting Station Houston. - Private Tristan A.
