Marines with Recruiting Sub-Station Cedar Rapids and Recruiting Sub-Station Quad Cities held their monthly pool function in Iowa City, Iowa, April 13, 2024. During this training event the poolees were taught basic drill movement, conducted a motivational run, and swore their oath of enlistment during a Iowa Heartlanders hockey game. The purpose of the monthly pool function is to ensure the poolees have the opportunity to prepare mentally and physically before recruit training and to experience the camaraderie of the Marine Corps.
