Marine Corps Recruit depot, San Diego, California - You voted and we listened! Here is this week's Top Shot! WEEKLY TOP SHOT! TOP SHOT WINNER!!! A primary marksmanship instructor with Edson Range, Weapons and Field Training Battalion, assists a recruit with Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, with his sitting position during range week at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 5. The PMIs corrected the recruits’ shooting positions to improve their ability to accurately fire their weapons for qualification. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Bravo Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 7. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
