Recruits from Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion undergo an initial gear inspection during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 17. The new recruits conducted the inspection to ensure they had all the required gear and were prepared to begin training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate March 10.
