241st Marine Corps Birthday Motivational Run

Marines with 2nd and 3rd Recruit Training Battalion run in formation behind the new Marines of Hotel Company, 2nd RTBN, during a motivational run at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 8. The run was in celebration of the Marine Corps’ 241st birthday, which is Nov. 10, 1775. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 9.
