Recruits from Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, hold out their locks during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 28. Recruits are expected to keep their gear secured with their locks at all times to ensure accountability. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 20.
