Sergeant Justin J. Harrison, drill instructor, Receiving Company, Support Battalion, instructs a recruit to yell louder during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 11. While recruits are on the depot, they will have drill instructor supervising them every day, everywhere they go. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 6.
