Recruits from Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, receive instruction a primary marksmanship instructor during Grass Week at Edson Range, Weapons and Field Training Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 3. The recruits participated in classes taught by their PMIs, and they learned more about handling their weapon and what they’ll be doing with it for the weeks to come. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Sep. 23.
