Recruits from Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct pull-ups during an inventory physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 11. To complete a single pull-up, recruits had to get their chin over the bar completely. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 5.
