Recruits of Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, finish a strength and endurance course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 20. The two-and-a-half-mile course is made up of quarter-mile sprints with various exercises in between. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to May 20.
