#CC0000

Recruits of Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, maneuver across a rope bridge during the Bayonet Assault Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 29. This portion of the event simulated what it would be like maneuvering across dangerous terrain with gear and a weapon during combat. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Alpha Company is scheduled to graduate April 22.
