Recruits of Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, climb over high bars during Obstacle Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 24. To properly maneuver this obstacle, the recruits must apply the techniques they were taught by their drill instructors by pulling themselves up without using their legs as leverage against the side posts. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate June 3.
