Recruits of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct sprint drills during a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 22. Each physical training session is set to build recruits’ endurance and stamina as they progress through training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate May 6.
