Recruits of Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, climb an obstacle during Confidence Course I at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 25. Drill instructors instructed the recruits to move with speed and intensity to ensure that the rest of the recruits got to try every obstacle. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate April 1.
