Jason Martin, military police officer, Headquarters and Service Battalion, marches off after being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 5. Martin received the award for his heroic actions in saving the life of a woman caught in quickly rising flood waters.
