A Company F, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion recruit fires his weapon on burst from a bunker at Edson Range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. July 31. The exercise provided the recruits their first opportunity to fire their rifles on burst. After finishing the exercise recruits formed up to continue their three day Crucible filled with numerous other exercises designed to test their mental and physical fortitude.
