Mike Whaley, docent, Command Museum, points out battles conducted in the Asia-Pacific region to recruits of Company A, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, during their visit to the museum aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego June 27. Docents provided recruits with an in-depth history of the Marine Corps from the early ages to the present day. Whaley is a retired Marine lieutenant colonel.
