The slide for life is an obstacle that requires recruits to climb a 25-foot tower, then climb across a decesending 90-foot cable above a pool of water. Halfway through the climb, recruits are instructed to change posistions while hanging above the pool. This obstacle requires the most mental and physical strength to complete.
