A recruit of Comapany A, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, carries two ammunition-cans as he sprints through the manuever under fire portion during the Combat Fitness Test aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego June 21. The manuever under fire is the last portion of the CFT. The CFT is an annual requirement for Marines that tests their combat readiness. Recruits must complete and pass the CFT to move forward with recruit training.
