Recruits of Comapany A, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, sprint around the track during their Combat Fitness Test aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego June 21. The sprint is the first portion of the test, known as movement-to-contact, which is an 880-yard run in boots and utility trousers. There are three portions of the CFT recruits must complete within the time given in order to pass.
