Lt. Jarrod Johnson, chaplain, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion talked to Company M recruits about marriage as a first term Marine June 14 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The classes covered everything from advantages of being married to disadvantages of marriage while in the military. Johnson answered any questions the recruits might have while giving them statistics about civilian marriages and military marriages. He also directed them toward classes for married or soon to be married Marines that they can take with their spouse once they reach the fleet.
