Installation Voting Assistance Office

Installation Voting Assistance Office (IVAO) provides information on voting, how to request absentee ballots, write-in absentee ballots for each state for all military service members, voting-age dependents and also assists federal civil servants with basic voting information. 

Additionally, the IVAO provides information on the Federal Voting Assistance Program and it's associated website which contains the latest up-to-date voting news and information.

The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) administers the federal voting responsibilities of more than six million potential voters: active duty members of the uniformed services as well as several other government agencies with employees working overseas and their voting age dependents. It also assists voting for U.S. citizens residing outside the United States.
