About Support Battalion
Support Battalion is led by LtCol. Michael R. Hodson and SgtMaj Jennifer L. Simmons.
Support Battalion comprises of five companies, HQ’s Company, Instructional Training Company, Special Training Company, Receiving Company, as well as the Drill Instructor school and provides reception, administrative processing, swim, martial arts & academic instruction, remedial physical training & medical rehabilitation for personnel upon their entry into the Marine Corps.
The battalion supports the training of all three recruit training battalions.
