Family Readiness Officer
"Linking Units and Families"
Mission: Ensuring families are ready regardless of deployment status or operational tempo by maintaining optimum unit and personal effectiveness. Educate, assist and empower Marines and families to achieve and maintain a high state of personal readiness and resiliency in response to life, career and mission events by providing information, tools, resources and support thereby enhancing the Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program.

Volunteering with the Family Readiness Program
Family Readiness Volunteer is a spouse or designated parent or extended family member of the unit, appointed in writing by the commanding officer. These Volunteers support the unit family readiness program, in several ways (Welcoming unit families, providing feedback from unit families and assisting with information and referral services).
To become a Family Readiness Volunteer, please contact your unit Family Readiness Officer.
