Q: How do I get a copy of my graduation photo or yearbook?

A: DRESS BLUES PORTRAITS AND USMC YEARBOOK

Photos and yearbooks are limited to stock on hand. Your recruit will have been given the opportunity to order his portrait and yearbook while in boot camp. Available by walk in only and only during "Recruit Graduation" days. You can also order by telephone. Please contact Leonard Studios for more information.

Platoon Graduation Photos
Platoon Graduation Photos are available only for years 1937 - 1974. Platoon Graduation Photos are available for $35.00 plus $3.50 shipping & handling. Additional copies of the same picture are available for $15.00 each.

MCRD San Diego Yearbooks
Yearbooks from the 1980's and 1990's are available in limited quantities. Year Books are available for $49.00 plus $6.50 shipping & handling

Q: Can I visit Marine Corps Recruit Depot?

A: The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Command Museum, graduation ceremonies and family day events are open to the public. The museum is open Mon - Sat 8:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. When you arrive to base please present photo ID, vehicle registration and insurance to gate house.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: All mail is routed through the only mail office on the depot.  What is critical, to have your mail reach your recruit, is to ENSURE YOU LIST THE CORRECT TRAINING COMPANY AND PLATOON.  The mail office will see that information and sort the mail to that company and platoon.  The company and platoon information will be listed on the letter your recruit sends home about 2 - 3 weeks into training.

A:   Wednesday - New Marine Family Meet and Greet dinner at the Bay View Restaurant aboard MCRD San Diego 
                              - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Make your reservations HERE

       Thursday - Motivation Run 10:00 a.m.

       Thursday – Liberty 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.

       Friday - Morning Colors 7:45 a.m.

       Friday - Graduation 10:00 a.m.

Q: Are there wheel chairs or other medical equipment available for use?

A:
Unfortunately the Depot does not provide wheel chairs for public use. Wheel chairs and other medical equipment of that nature are strictly for recruits and active duty and reserve Marines and sailors assigned to Marine Corps Recuit Depot San Diego.
