Gunnery Sgt. Isaac C. Anderson, drill instructor, Receiving Company, Support Battalion, corrects a recruit during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 30. Anderson informed the recruit to respond properly by answering loudly every time a drill instructor gave him orders. Recruits are required to follow all instructions from drill instructors throughout recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to graduate July 27.
